Ms Marvel actress Iman Vellani has a busy year ahead of is due to make her on-screen and Marvel debut as Kamala Khan, Ms Marvel herself, in June, and will also soon be appearing in The Marvels with Brie Larson and Teyonah despite being thrown in the middle of the Marvel universe with a number of big-budget projects, the young actress recently admitted that filming The Marvels with Brie Larson was quite a relaxing experience for her. "A completely different experience."You have the same amount of filming time almost to film a lot less content, so everything was more relaxed."The 19-year-old newcomer also credited her co-stars, Larson and Teyonah Parris, who play Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau in the film, for her pleasant experience on-set, calling them "the most amazing support system". She added: "Just to have people who have the same pains from doing stunts. We were just crying together. It's awesome." These shorts will be directed by executive producer Kristen Lepore and debut on August 10, Attorney at Law (Disney+, August 17, 2022)A new Disney+ series, She-Hulk spotlights lawyer-slash-green powerhouse Jennifer Walters who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany will play the title character, with Mark Ruffalo reprising his role as Hulk/Bruce Banner, and Tim Roth returning as the Abomination. The series is directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia; Jessica Gao is head writer. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will premiere on Disney+ on August 17, 2022, and the first season will contain nine episodes. At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, we were treated to new footage and the reveal that Charlie Cox's Daredevil will be making an appearance. Untitled Halloween Special (Disney+, 2022)Marvel is reportedly developing a Halloween special for Disney+ which may take inspiration from the comic Werewolf by Night. The studio has yet to officially confirm this title, but the industry trades have reported that it is in Panther: Wakanda Forever (November 11, 2022)Black Panther 2 has a release date and is now called Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but with the sad and untimely passing of series star Chadwick Boseman, it's difficult to know how director Ryan Coogler (back from the first film) will handle the situation. Kevin Feige has said he will not recast the character, nor will Boseman's likeness be recreated San Diego Comic-Con 2022, we were treated to the first trailer of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and it introduced us to Tenoch Huerta's Namor the Sub-Mariner and gave us a tease of the new Black Panther that will follow in the footsteps of the great Chadwick Panther: Wakanda Forever will arrive in theaters on November 11, 2022, and will mark the end of Phase 4 of the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (Disney+, Holiday Season 2022)The Guardians of the Galaxy will be back for this holiday special, including writer/director James Gunn at the helm. Gunn confirmed the special is set in between the events of Thor: Love and Thunder and the third Guardians If... ? Season 2 (Disney+, Early 2023)The first animated series in the MCU will return for a second season in Early 2023. At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, it was revealed that this new season will feature heroes and villains from the MCU's multiversal realities, including Captain Carter, Steve Rogers as Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor Ragnarok's Hela, Young Star-Lord and Ego, The Scarlet Witch, Mandarin, and more. The preview also showed Thanos fighting Captain America from Infinity final part of the preview also was revealed to take place in the year 1602, which is surely a nod to Marvel 1602, a 2003 eight-issue miniseries penned by Neil Gaiman that follows Marvel superheroes that exist in the Elizabethan era, including Nick Fury, X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and more. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (February 17, 2023)The third Ant-Man movie will be helmed by Ant-Man director Peyton Reed and star returning favorites Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/Wasp, Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne. Kathryn Newton joins the cast as Cassie Lang while Jonathan Majors portrays Kang the Diego Comic-Con 2022 gave those in attendance at Marvel's panel a first look at the much-anticipated film that included our first real look at Majors' Kang, MODOK, and even Bill and the Wasp: Quantumania will kick off Phase 5 of the MCU when it arrives in theaters on February 17, Invasion (Disney+, Spring 2023)Variety reported in September 2020 that Samuel L. Jackson would return as Nick Fury in a new MCU series on Disney+, with Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot) reportedly writing and executive producing the project. Kevin Feige confirmed the series in December 2020, and announced that Ben Mendelsohn from Captain Marvel will also star as the Skrull Talos in this adaptation of one of Marvel's most iconic comics storylines, which explores a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman and Kingsley Ben-Adir are also expected to star. Disney+ Day 2021 gave us our first look at the upcoming series in the form of an image featuring Samuel L. Jackson as a bearded, eyepatch-less Nick San Diego Comic-Con 2022, those in attendance at Marvel's panel were treated to new footage that saw Nick Fury walking out of a spaceship and being read the Riot Act for abandoning Earth by Maria Hill. Don Cheadle's Rhodey also made an appearance and Maria Hill actor Cobbie Smulders teased this series will be exciting because you "won't know who's Skrull and who's human."Secret Invasion will arrive on Disney+ in Spring of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (May 5, 2023)At one point, before James Gunn's temporary firing, Guardians Vol. 3 was meant to be the first, if not one of the first, films in Phase 4. With the deck reshuffled now, and James Gunn directing The Suicide Squad for DC before Vol 3., the next Guardians flick will now debut in Phase San Diego Comic-Con, those in attendance at Marvel's panel were treated to the first trailer for the conclusion of the Guardians trilogy. Alongside the reveal of Maria Bakalova's Cosmo the dog, we catch a glimpse of Gamora running a section of the Ravagers and Peter Quill/Star-Lord approaching her. Gamora reminds Quill that the Gamora he loved is dead. A big boy Groot is also featured alongside a baby Rocket Raccoon, and the trailer ends with a question of where Rocket came the panel, Chukwudi Iwuji surprised the panel by appearing in full costume as the High of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will arrive in theaters on May 5, (Disney+, Summer 2023)Echo is an upcoming series that will star Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez/Echo. Furthermore, Echo will make her debut in Marvel's Hawkeye. Echo is the adoptive daughter of Kingpin and has long been associated with Daredevil. She is a deaf Native American character who was created by David Mack and Joe Quesada and first appeared in Daredevil Vol. 2 #9 in 1999. Much like Taskmaster, Echo can copy the fighting style of her opponents and wound up joining the New Avengers as the first Ronin. Hawkeye has already taken on the Ronin namesake in Avengers: Endgame, so it will be interesting to see where they take Echo's Season 2 (Disney+, Summer 2023)During the mid-credits scene in the Loki Season 1 finale, a close-up is revealed showcasing some of the TVA's paperwork, which is stamped with the words "Loki will return for Season 2." At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, it was revealed Loki will officially be back in Summer Marvels (July 28, 2023)Captain Marvel 2, which is now called The Marvels, is in the works with Nia DaCosta directing. Teyonah Parris will play an adult Monica Rambeau alongside Brie Larson's Carol Danvers, and the film will also feature Ms. Marvel, played by Iman Vellani, who will be introduced in the Ms. Marvel Disney+ (November 3, 2023)Blade will be returning to the big screen, starring Mahershala Ali. Besides a quick voice cameo in Eternals, we have yet to learn anything more about Ali's Blade. However, Marvel's panel at San Diego Comic-Con revealed Blade will be released in theaters on November 3, (Disney+, Fall 2023)Ironheart will see Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams/Ironheart, a "genius inventor who creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man. While there is no release date for Ironheart, it has been confirmed that Williams will make her debut in Black Panther 2. In the comics, Williams was an engineering prodigy that used Stark's digitized consciousness as an AI to teach her to be the best Ironheart she can be. With the suit, she can fly and shoot out repulsor grenades, laser beams, precision missiles, and much '97 (Disney+, Fall 2023)X-Men '97 is a revival of the original X-Men: The Animated Series from the 1990s that will continue right where that storyline left off in Fall 2023. The Wrap has also reported that many of the original voice actors from the first show will be returning to their characters, including Wolverine's Cal Dodd, Rogue's Lenore Zann, Beast's George Buza, and more. In addition to familiar voices, Jennifer Hale, Ray Chase, and many more will join the cast. Beau DeMayo will serve as executive producer and head San Diego Comic-Con, the press were treated to a first look at the series and saw many of the returning characters, including Rogue, Beast, Gambit, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Storm, Jubilee, and Cyclops. Magneto also made an appearance and said, "You’re looking at he new leader of the X-Men." It was also revealed Cable, Bishop, Forge, Morph, NIghtcrawler, and Sunspot would be returning as the villain front, the panel showed off various Sentinels, Mr. Sinister, White Queen, and Sebastian Shaw of the Hellfire Coven of Chaos (Disney+, Winter 2023/24)Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness was one of the most beloved parts of WandaVision, and she will be returning in her own spin-off series on Disney+. WandaVision's Jac Schaefer will serve as executive producer and head Born Again (Disney+, Spring 2024)In May of 2022, Variety reported that a new Daredevil series was in the works from writer/executive producers Matt Corman and Chris Ord (Covert Affairs). Marvel had yet to confirm the existence of the show, but ever since Charlie Cox reprised his Netflix/Marvel take on Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Vincent D’Onofrio did the same for Kingpin/Wilson Fisk in Hawkeye, it seemed clear that Marvel had plans for those popular versions of the characters to continue under the Marvel Studios banner. Daredevil's importance has been made much clearer since then, as he has made a cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home and San Diego Comic-Con 2022 confirmed Daredevil: Born Again will arrive on Disney+ in Spring America: New World Order (May 3, 2024)The same day The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's final episode debuted, The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that a fourth Captain America movie is in the works with director Julius Onah and showrunner Malcolm Spellman co-writing the screenplay with FWS staff writer Dalan Musson. Since then, it has been officially confirmed that Captain America: New World Order will be released in theaters on May 3, 2024, and will be the first solo film starring Anthony Mackie as a new take on the iconic (July 26, 2024)In June of 2022, reports emerged that director Jake Schreier (Robot & Frank) had been lined up by Marvel to direct a Thunderbolts movie, which has been in development with Black Widow writer Eric Pearson scripting. Reportedly, Marvel has been in contact with already-established MCU actors to make sure they're available for a summer 2023 shoot. In the comics, the Thunderbolts are typically portrayed as a team of antiheroes. Some players who could show up in the MCU version -- based on the comics -- include team founder Baron Zemo (Daniel Brühl), Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Yelena Belova/Black Widow (Florence Pugh), John Walker/ Agent (Wyatt Russell), and maybe even Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, it was confirmed that Thunderbolts will be released in theaters on July 26, 2024, and will mark the end of Phase 5 of the Four (November 8, 2024)At San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said that X-Men and Fantastic Four were on the way to the MCU in some form. Nothing has been confirmed since regarding the X-Men, but in a Disney investors call in December, 2020, Feige confirmed that a FF movie was in the works from Spider-Man 1-3 director Jon Watts. However, in April, 2022, the news broke that Watts was stepping away from the film and the hunt for a new director was San Diego Comic-Con 2022, it was confirmed that Fantastic Four would begin Phase 5 of the MCU on November 8, 2024, and begin the final journey towards the end of The Multiverse Saga with Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Freshman Year (Disney+, 2024)Spider-Man: Freshman Year is an upcoming animated series that "follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU, with a journey unlike we've ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots." It is yet unclear if Tom Holland will be reprising his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in this series, but it is known that Jeff Trammel will serve as both executive producer and head series is set to arrive on Disney+ in 2024 and will feature Charlie Cox's Daredevil, Dr. Octavius, Chameleon, Speed Demon, Scorpion, Butane the Pyromaniac, Harry Osborn, and Amadeus was also confirmed that the second season of the show - Spider-Man: Sophmore Year - will also be on its way. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (May 2, 2025)While we've known for some time that Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror would make his big screen debut in the MCU in Ant-Man: Quantumania, his importance was made clear when Marvel revealed at San Diego Comic-Con-2022 that Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will officially be the next Avengers film and will be one of the two films alongside Avengers: Secret Wars to bring an end to The Multiverse Saga and Phase 6 of the The Kang Dynasty will be released. in theaters on May 2, Secret Wars (November 7, 2025)Avengers: Secret Wars will mark the end of both Phase 6 of the MCU and the entire Multiverse Saga that encompasses Phases 4, 5, and 6. It will arrive only six months after Avengers: The Kang Dynasty on November 7, 2025.
